Audrey In Paris
“Spring time in Paris” …. That was my inspiration for this tag. Our beautiful Audrey from Julie Nutting just epitomizes grace and elegance from an era of beautiful hats and dresses !!! The new Fruit Paradise collection matched this theme perfectly with its sweet colours of pinks and yellows , all reminiscent of warm days and a slower pace of life.” ~ Rachel
“I wanted to create something different with a Julie Nutting stamp. I always create tags of small other projects like embroidery hoops. This time, I wanted to create a layout. Since Easter is just over, I decided to use the Bunny stamp with this picture of my daughter. We often call her «Ma lapine», which means «my bunny». I colored the stamped image with alcohol markers. I love how the stamped image blends in the project to create something very harmonious. “ ~ Karine

Coloring With Markers
“Hello, Everyone – today we are showcasing Julie Nutting stamps , and I thought I would show how wonderfully these smaller stamps look when used on a card ! I did a little bit of masking, so that all three girls overlapped a bit, making it seem like they were standing close together. I love how it created a little scene! I coloured them up with Copic markers and layered up some of the pretty ‘Havana’ paper to create a clean and simple card .These stamps are so versatile – they can be used for cardmaking , journaling, and on tags. Happy crafting!” – Rachel
Favor Boxes Tutorial
"I just love these bright and colorful papers in the Julie Nutting Traveling Girl collection, love the patterns too. I created these simple, yet lovely, favor boxes with this stunning collection. I adorned the boxes with some die-cut elements, fussy-cut pictures from the collection, and beautiful Golden Coast flowers." - Tanya
Step by Step Instructions:
Step 1. Cut a small box from the collection sheets using a box cutting die (or you can find a template on Pinterest here). Add red, double-sided tape to the tabs as seen in the picture.
Tip: I prefer using the red tape for my boxes to adhere, because it is easy to assemble and, thus, will prevent your project from falling apart.
Step 2. Cut a few die-cut and fussy-cut elements to layer and form an embellishment cluster for your box.
Step 3. Cut a few strings and make loops to form a bow, adhere the loops with a glue gun.
Tip: It will look messy, but no need to worry to much as you will cover it up with a flower.
Step 4. Adhere all the pieces together to form your embellishment cluster, stick it on to the box. Add some sequins to give it that extra bling.
Aren’t these gals incredibly talented! I love the different ideas for using Julie’s gorgeous doll stamps, from stamping/dressing doll cards and tags with Vero and Anita, to adding elements on layouts with Karine, coloring with markers with Rachel, and this sweet tutorial for making pillow gift boxes with Tanya!
