Welcome to the magical land of mermaids! We asked our team to play around with any of our products and create a magical mermaid-ish project! From Julie Nutting’s mermaid stamps to Finnabair’s mermaid-colored paints, we have quite the assortment to make magic! Come see!

“The summer is over and now it is time to remember the unforgettable moments.  With one of my favorite Julie Nutting stamps and the Flirty Fleur collection, I created the cover of this album. I started out with a white paper background and I used many embellishments to decorate it. And, of course, I put Cordelia as the main point of my cover. These mermaids are truly magical!”~ Vero Atienza

“I love the sea! The horizon is so calming and the constant movement of the waves soothes and inspires at the same time. I also find mermaids intriguing and inspiring. So, I thought adding a mermaid on top of my Prima Traveler’s Journal cover would always inspire me to do something to the book and experiment. I used a Julie Nutting stamp to make the body of the mermaid and a vintage photo-styled ephemera piece to make the face. “ ~ Riikka

“The background of the cover is done using Impasto paints. I first primed the cover using white gesso and then painted the colors on top and added some stencil layers, too. I then added some stamping on top. I stamped the mermaid pieces on top of an old book page and added some Modeling Paste on top of the tail piece to make scale texture to it. I then adhered the mermaid parts to the cover using Soft Matte Gel. Naturally I needed to add some sparkle to the otherwise matte cover and what would be better fit than “Mermaid Sparkle” Sparks paint!”
